The Little
Singers of Tokyo, an
international award-winning choir will be coming to Mason City to sing for the
Iowa Choral Directors Association summer convention at NIACC. They will perform
in concert at NIACC on Wednesday, July 28 at 7:00 pm. While they are here they
will also sing at Holy Family Catholic Church for the 11 am Mass on Tuesday,
July 27. Please take an early lunch break and plan to attend the Mass at Holy
Family located at 714 North Adams, Mason City. The public is welcome.

The 4th Degree K of CÕs will hold their annual
Chicken BBQ on Sunday August 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or
until gone. This will be held at the K of C Hall, 551 S. Taft, Mason City. All
are invited. Cost is $7 for adults & $3 under 12.

Msgr. Brunkan will celebrate his 80th
Birthday August 5. We will have a 5:30 p.m. Mass followed by a Potluck Supper.
The Rosary Society will furnish cake, ice cream, coffee, punch,
and table service.

sing for Msgr. Brunkan's Birthday Celebration Mass on Thursday, August 5.
Mass is at 5:30 p.m. followed by potluck dinner. Singers who are able,
please come at 4:30 p.m. to practice.

Ken & Fran Schmitt will celebrate their 40th
Wedding Anniversary on August 8 with an Open House at St. Mary Parish Hall from
2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. The couple requests no gifts.

When Marcella resigned her position as caretaker for
St. Mary and moved away, we enlisted parishioners to make a walkthrough
inspection of the buildings each day. We would like to know who is doing this
and on what day of the week. If you are involved, please inform Fr. Brunkan or
David Gabel.
