“This past Month the local Knights of Columbus again donated money to a local member of our community who needed help. The Knights do all they can to help those
in need, near and far away.
Next weekend will be the TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE at Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford. Of the Funds that are donated, 100% will go to two local organizations for People with Intellectual Disabilities. These organizations are One Vision (previously Opportunity Village) and also to Comprehensive Systems. Please find it in your heart to donate to these great organizations and be the help they need to continue their great service to our community. The local Knights of Columbus members will be at the back of church to graciously accept your donations and of course provide you with a classic Tootsie Roll, or two or three… Thanks for your generous support in advance!”
Holy Name is looking for someone for snow removal on sidewalks around the church. Please contact Pastoral Council member: Dean Jones 641-425-3499.
Holy Name will again provide Sunday noon meals for Father Brunkan September – December.
The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin
board near the kitchen.
